                Herbs and spices have been used in maintaining and enhancing human beauty & health since times immemorial. Indian women have long used herbs such as Sandalwood and Turmeric for skin care, Henna to color the hair, palms and soles and natural oils to perfume their bodies

                The word Ayurveda is composed of two terms Ayush meaning life and veda meaning knowledge or science. Thus Ayurveda means the science of life and has been practiced for centuries in India and now being closely watched and followed by the western countries. Ayurveda is much more than only a system of medicine. It emphasizes the maintenance of positive health of individual and aims more at prevention and maintenance than cure.
